It Will Rain Tonight V

        I ran off, leaving Raul standing in the snow, but knowing him, he'd follow me. Whether I liked or not. I slowed down my pace and knew exactly where he was. I raised my gun to the right of me and shot.

"You know, that would've hurt if you had hit me," he whisper closely into my ear.
"What do you want?!" I exclaimed to the stubborn shapeshifter that I had intentially fired a gun at.
"I wanna know why on earth would you fall for such a person? Plus it's fun to bother you," he smirked," I love how your temper makes you seem more beautiful than you already are," he moved closer and give me a small kiss on the lips, but before he could advance on me anymore, I moved my face away from him.

"That's none of your business," I said a bit harshly, then faced him again in a different mood. I then looked at him and smirked," You know that doesn't work on me."
"I know it doesn't," he smirked and pushed me against a close by tree looking at my eyes with a fire in his," Is this better then?"
"No," I shoved him away,"Didn't I tell you a million times that I don't like you?!"
"Actually, only 100,032 times darling, and, to be frank, you said you don't like me not I don't love you."
"Don't be such a smarta-"
"Why do you like him?"
"Like I said, it's none of your business!!" I started off in the direction of the hotel again, but stopped when Raul said something that caught my attention.
"You know, you're gonna have to tell him the truth. You're gonna have to tell him everything. Or bad things would happen."
"I know."
"When?"
"When the time's right."
         After that Raul let me go to the hotel without interruption, but before I went inside I decided to sit on a bench outside of the hotel. The conversation between Raul and I put me into a deep thought and memories came rushing back to me.

         I'm Melody,and I'm not human. My mother was born a shapeshifter and my father was a vampire. So I'm a shapeshifter and vampire. The families of both my mother and father were rich but disapproved on the fact that they loved each other, but they couldn't stay mad for long since there was no way to change my mother and father's mind. I was born and taken under both familes as a beautiful child but I didn't like it. I ran away when I was fourteen going on fifteen but I was found by one of the bats my father sent out. I came back home and was showered by many kisses and hugs. My dad thought I burned to death because I had his blood but I didn't. It was found out that I could shapeshift and go out in the sunlight but I also had a taste for blood but I could control it. I was able to leave my home at fifteen and live a half-normal life. Everything was going fine, until I met Alex.

        I stopped thinking hard on the subject, sighed, and headed into the hotel. When I reached the elevator, I pushed the button with a 7 on it. I wanted to check on Alex before I went to my suite to make sure he was okay. When I was on the seventh floor, I went to his door and opened it, he gave me a key and he has one for mine. When I went in, the suite seemed almost deserted, but then I went to his bedroom and found him sleeping in it. I smiled and went to his bed to put more blankets on him, since it was a bit cold, but when I did he got my hand and pulled me into the bed with him. It felt warm with his body against mine, and the covers on me. It wasn't until then did I realized how tired I was and within seconds I dozed off with Alex.
